What we remove · X posts
Remove an X post from Google
A post on X ranks for a name within hours and can stay indexed long after it is deleted.
What this covers
Every copy of it, not just the first one.
Posts, quote-posts, replies and the screenshot reposts that survive a deletion, together with the third-party mirrors that archive them.
The route that works
How this one actually comes down.
X's rules on private information, non-consensual imagery and impersonation are the practical grounds, and a report citing the specific rule performs far better than a general complaint. Where the account is anonymous and the post is defamatory, formal notice goes to the platform rather than the account. De-indexing follows, because a deleted post routinely stays in Google's index for weeks.
What we will not take money for
Criticism and opinion, however unpleasant, are not removable and we will not charge to try.
The terms for this link
One published fee, whatever the platform. The removal window for forum and social threads starts at 28 days and is fixed in the engagement letter at signing, so a later change to our defaults cannot alter your case.
- i.Assessed in writing within 48 working hours, saying whether it can go and by which route.
- ii.Removed means the URL no longer appears in Google for the agreed search terms, checked from the UK, the US and one EU location on two days at least seven days apart.
- iii.If it is still there when the window closes, the fee is refunded in full within five working days. No deduction for work performed.
- iv.Monitored monthly for twelve months. If it returns at the same URL, we act again at no charge.
Questions
About this one specifically.
The post was deleted but it still shows in Google.
That is normal and it is the second half of the job. The de-indexing and cache request clears the result.
What about screenshots of it elsewhere?
Each is its own URL and is assessed separately, though copies of a link we removed are covered by the same fee.
