Who we are

No Trace. Trading from London and San Francisco. We are not a law firm. Where a removal route requires legal representation we instruct independent counsel in the relevant jurisdiction, at our cost.

The service

We remove a specified URL from Google search results for agreed search terms, for a published fixed fee per URL, refunded in full if the URL is not removed within the agreed window. The full terms of any engagement are in the engagement letter, which you sign before paying and which prevails over anything on this page.

The fee and the refund

The fee is $6,000 per URL. It is paid at the start and held in a client account until the matter closes. If the URL is verified as removed, the fee is released to us. If it is not removed by the end of the agreed window, the whole fee is returned within five working days, with no deduction for work performed and no partial-success fee.

Where you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and the refund described above is in addition to them.

What we will not do

We will not mislead a publisher, a platform or a court. We will not accept a link we do not believe can be removed. We do not sell suppression, and we do not sell removal of accurate, current material in the public interest.

Acceptable use

You confirm you are the person named in the link, or authorised to act for them. Submitting someone else's name in order to remove material about them, without their authority, is a breach of these terms and we will close the case without a refund.

Liability

Our liability in connection with an engagement is limited to the fee paid for it. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

England and Wales, with exclusive jurisdiction in its courts.
